Bloom Garden Autism Academy is structured to provide services to students who require early intervention services as well as those who by virtue of delayed milestones need substantial support. Bloom Garden Autism Academy prepares students for mainstreaming, vocational rehabilitation and independence in life. Our philosophy as a school is that the progress of the child with special needs depends on the contact time they have with teachers and other relevant professionals. As a result, the school has a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.
Bloom Garden International School is structured to provide services to students who require a slight degree of support to access the curriculum. The school uses Cambridge and Edexcel curriculum and has teachers who are well trained in special educational needs. Since the students require more than just education, therapists work alongside teachers to ensure that every student receives the right blend of support. The teacher student ratio at Bloom Garden International School is either 1:3.
Recognizing the need for workplace transition, Bloom Garden Schools have established a vocational institution called Bloom Garden Vocational Training Center. The institution prepares teens and young adults for vocational training. It is fully accredited by NITA as a center for Trade Tests. The key mission of Bloom Garden Vocational Training Center Is to equip young adults with skills that can lead to placement in work place with some support or independently.
BGAA provides services that are based on the student's current level of performance. Teachers, therapists and other service providers therefore work from the child’s current performance level towards new and improved performance. The significance of level appropriate tasks is to avoid frustrations in the learner, the parent and the teacher.
BGAA provides services that have the potential to lead to learning, or skill acquisition to a degree that impacts new competencies in the learner. This is achieved through hiring of well trained and qualified professionals.
BGAA always places the child in the middle. The need to fulfil curriculum demands does not override the need for the learner to benefit from the intervention process.
Teachers and therapists at BGAA have a strong grasp of theory and practice. This is achieved via hiring qualified staff, ongoing workshops and staff training programs.
BGAA provides interventions within extremely safe environments so as not jeopardize health and safety of the student.
